Beginners Yoga in Stony Stratford

Come and learn or revisit the basics of yoga in a fun and friendly foundation or beginners yoga classes in Stony Stratford. This is for you if you're new to yoga, returning to the practice after a break or just want to work on foundational yoga poses at a relaxed pace. Wherever you are in your yoga journey, this course will help you develop a better understanding of the yoga basics.


Based at York House Centre, in the heart of Stony Stratford, Milton Keynes, I'll teach you the basics of yoga movement practice, with plenty of time to see how the poses feel in your body. We will focus on alignment and I'll suggest ways to modify or adjust your position so the postures work for you.


The 5 week Yoga Basics course is designed to give you the confidence to start practicing yoga regularly and attending classes. As well as learning how to modify yoga poses for your body, you'll gain an understanding of which areas of the body each pose is designed to stretch and strengthen. We'll explore breath practice and relaxation techniques and cover some basic yoga theory and history so you understand the why behind the poses.


The next 5 week course starts Monday 15th April.
